Getting Started
LiberQio is a context-aware AI assistant that integrates directly into your macOS workflow. It lives in your menu bar and works across all your applications.
Installation
- Download the latest
LiberQio.dmg. - Drag the application to your Applications folder.
- Launch LiberQio. You will be prompted to grant Accessibility Permissions. This is required for LiberQio to read and write text under your cursor.
Core Features
1. Text Input
Press ` (backtick) anywhere to toggle Text Input. This is your command center.
- Chat: Type normally to chat with your configured AI model.
- Commands: Use natural language to change settings (e.g., "Switch to GPT-4").
2. Smart Panel
Select any text in any application (browser, IDE, Notes) and hold the selection for 0.5 seconds. The Smart Panel will appear with quick actions:
- Rewrite: Instantly polish or rephrase the text.
- Translate: Convert the text to another language.
- Explain: Get definitions or context for the selected terms.
3. Voice Dictation
LiberQio offers enhanced voice dictation that goes beyond standard system dictation. It includes:
- Long-form Support: Speak for minutes at a time without timeout.
- Auto-Punctuation: The AI intelligently adds commas, periods, and formatting.
- Thought Structuring: Enable "Auto-Typesetting" to have your rambling thoughts converted into clean, bulleted Markdown.
Configuration
Click the LiberQio icon in the menu bar to access the full settings dashboard. Here you can:
- Configure AI Models (Ollama, NVIDIA, OpenAI).
- Manage your "Digital Clones" and style presets.
- Review and clear your local history.
